This is a unique backpacking loop in Yosemite National Park. The hike takes you to the top of one of the most iconic granite walls in the world, El Capitan, as well as to one of Yosemite's granite domes, North Dome, and the stunning Yosemite Falls. Additionally, the trail passes through ancient forests, waterfalls, water holes, lakes, and breathtaking vistas of the Valley. Having the opportunity to camp in the wilderness at these spots is absolutely unique and something you will never forget. As you ascend from Upper Yosemite Falls and traverse back, you could also start from Old Big Oak Flat Road. You have the flexibility to hike at your own pace, adding or subtracting days as needed. Embarking on this trail offers a unique and unforgettable experience.
