Even though Cordoba is a small city to visit there are many things you can do. You may realise that you need more than 24 hours which means another trip to this fabulous city will be set in motion. So immerse yourself in history with the landmarks below.

1. THE GREAT MOSQUE-CATHEDRAL

Mezquita-Cathedral de Cordoba is a renowned structure in Cordoba which has gone through considerable change during it's many years due to the various rulers of the land.

However there is a lot of preservation of the old structure (Mosque) and of the the Cathedral (which is the current use of the structure).

There is an entry charge for tourists which you can purchase from the website or at the door. As per any religious building make sure you follow the dress code before entering, which again can be found on the website.

2. ROMAN BRIDGE

Puente Romano de Cordoba is the famous Roman Bridge.

A wonderful sight to visit especially at dusk, as the last rays of the sun linger and make the stone surfaces glow a deep golden red.

This bridge was first built in the 1st century A.D. and has been rebuilt many times since. Its present form dates mainly from the Medieval period, with the latest changes being made in 1876.

4. FOOD & SHOPPING

Behind the Mezquita-Cathedral you will be able to explore the many side streets. These are full of boutiques, tourist shops full of local crafts as well as restaurants that cater for various taste-buds.

One such restaurant is Pasillo Oriental. This is a Halal Restaurant that serves Lebanese dishes. Seating is situated upstairs overlooking the street below - however they also have some seating downstairs.
