5 Cool Hiking Trails in Kaneohe, Oahu
1) The Likeke Falls. An easy family friendly hike in Kaneohe. It takes 20 minutes to get to the waterfall. Simple in and out hike that can be enjoyed with anyone at any fitness level.
2) The Old Pali Road Hike. The starting point is exactly where you start at the Likeke falls. The Old Pali Road is paved the whole way, with ancient Hawaiian history, murals, and a couple snails here and there😁
3) Pu'u Ma'eli'eli Trail- A trail that hardly anyone knew about 10 years ago (including myself). Its become more popular over time. Its a 45 min hike to the top with a steady but manageable incline. When you get to the bunker at the top, you'll have panaromic views of the Kaneohe bay.
4) The Friendship Garden is a secret spot that isnt so secret anymore. It offers a nice trail, forrest feel with all the bamboo trees, a bench lookout, and more scenic views.
5) The Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden. My favorite place on planet earth. A garden with the rich Koolau Mountains as your background, a pond to feed the fish and ducks, and many picnic areas. This place is absolutely stunning.
