Gorgeous French style cafe with 10/10 aesthetic and an enchanting “piazza” around the side. Choose the salad and sandwich combo and a baked good that looks like it was imported from Paris. 🤤

The Harbinger Cafe & Bakery
@wanderingduo
A little north of downtown Charleston you will find this quaint bakery and Café. It may seem small when first entering, but continue into the back for seating either inside or on their patio.
It’ll be hard to choose which baked good to try, but I can say that the strawberry loaf with chamomile icing and mint was particularly amazing. Also, The grasshopper toast is SO YUMMY!!

A short 20 minute car ride from Charleston lies the iconic Poe’s Tavern on Sullivans Island. If you have a big party, expect to wait but the bar is first come first serve.
Make sure to take a peek inside at all of the Edgar Allan Poe decour. I really enjoyed the mahi-mahi tacos!

The Battery
@wanderingduo
The Battery is a landmark defensive seawall and promenade in Charleston, South Carolina. Named for a civil-war coastal defense artillery battery at the site, it stretches along the lower shores of the Charleston peninsula, bordered by the Ashley and Cooper Rivers, which meet here to form Charleston harbor.
Make sure to walk from the battery into South of Broad to say some of the most beautiful houses and residential streets you’ll see.
