Los Angeles - Restaurant/Cafe Reccs - Condensed

Ava Abreu
As a USC student, I was always trying to find fun places to eat that didn’t always break the bank, but were still iconic and must go places in LA, and this is what I came up with after extensive Google searches, yelp and TripAdvisor review reviewing, and asking for inputs from Angelenos who grew up there. Without further ado…

The first restaurant I go to when I land in LA, and the last one I go before I leave. I literally dream of this place, the service is amazing and fast and the food is heavenly. They have a spicy edamame to die for. The desserts, oh my lord, I would empty my entire bank account... the matcha one... literally could be my wedding cake and id be happy.

I wish I remembered the name, but there is a dish where they make the pasta in the wheel of cheese, and they also lit a few things on fire LOL, so the aesthetic is a big part of the restaurant BUT it does not compromise the delicious taste!

Hi! I’m Ava, an eco-explorer, travel journaler, postcard collector, pen pal, and person who takes wayyyyyy too many photos while on vacation. I am living in Hong Kong, and have lived in Los Angeles and Orlando, and I'm moving to Milan next year. I mainly travel with my family or other University students! I'm a pro at finding Instagrammable cafes, hidden food markets, and in spite of my horrible pollen allergies gardens. I love museums and shopping/taking classes from locals! If you want to check out some of the places I have been or my travel style, you can check out my blog (www.teentraveler.blog). Whether you are an experienced globetrotter or an aspiring traveler, I hope you join me on this adventure to explore our beautiful planet and create unforgettable memories. Wishing you safe travels!
