Beaches in Skiathos

Skiathos is a Greek island, part of the Sporades archipelago. It is a small island, which in the summer is full of life. I added in this guide ✨10 beaches✨ from Skiathos that you might want to visit while there and my opinions and prices for sunbeds.

Kolios Beach

I‌t is a quiet beach with rocky sand, the water gets deeper quite quick, but it is good for snorkeling. Rented the sunbeds and umbrella from Kolios Restaurant & Bar and the set was 15 euros. You have 2 restaurants and a separate bar where you can eat and have drinks on the beach from.

It is a beach with sand and rocks and turquoise water. You can rent sunbeds as well as stay directly on the sand as it has a big enough free zone. The restaurant Porta Paradiso is right on the beach.

Beautiful beach, a bit far from the bus stop and the walk might be hard as it is up a hill.

Tzaneria Beach

Beautiful beach, not very large. Make sure to make a reservation, as you might not find a place or you might have to wait for someone to not show up.

Koukounaries Beach

Koukounaries Beach

Beach with fine sand, known as “Golden Sand” since it looks like shining under the sun, and the water is clear and gets deeper progressively. I think it is one of the largest beaches, as it has a lot of sunbeds. One set of sunbeds and an umbrella costs 15 euros.

Lalaria Beach

You can get to Lalaria only by boat, but the beauty of the place deserves the trip.

Lalaria Beach
@iAMtravelling
The most beautiful beach in Skiathos. It is a rocky beach with little blue-white pebbles, making the water have an amazing blue color. At one end of the beach you can see Tripia Petra, a portal-like rock. The water gets deeper quick and the sea might be quite rough in this area. Of course, this being a remote beach, it is not organized in any way, so you will not find here bars, sunbeds for rent or anything alike.

Troulos Beach

Troulos Beach
@iAMtravelling
Beautiful beach with fine sand where you have the most chances to see the swans swimming close to the seashore. You can rent two sunbeds and an umbrella for 15 euros. I think the best place to eat on the beach is the restaurant from Troulos Bay Hotel.

The beach had some bars, but didn't seem very clean and well organized. Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost 40 euros, which also included 25 euros for mandatory consumption from the bar. I would not recommend spending the whole day here, but it seems a nice place to watch the sunset.

Islet of Tsougrias

Islet of Tsougrias
@iAMtravelling
Easy to reach from Skiathos Town either by renting a boat or taking an excursion with one of the vendors you can find in the port. Tsougrias has a lovely sandy beach, wedged between a pine forest and the clearest of seas.
