La Buchetta Food & Wine Restaurant
@pabloesquivel
My friend described this place as a religious experience and I agree. You will be treated with the sweetest Italian hospitality. Let them guide you through the menu, ask them to recommend a wine, no matter what you order you’re in great hands. The angels and demons gnocchi is incredible.

Dessert

Let’s face it Italy has some of the best desserts in the world. I’ve been all over Italy and the best gelato and the best affogato happened to be right here in Florence.

Carabè Firenze
@pabloesquivel
Ask for Antonio (the owner). He will charm you with his passion about gelato. Order the limone alla menta or parmigiano e pere gelato. The granita is also exquisite: spirito siciliano.

Affogato but as classic as they come. Great in the evening to wake you up before you go out for the night.

Florence is like a walking museum. If you manage to avoid the crowds walking around Florence is the most enjoyable activity.
