Lexington County Peach Festival

The Lexington County Peach Festival, hosted annually by the Gilbert Community Club, is a must-visit event in South Carolina. Held every July 4th (or July 3rd if the 4th falls on a Sunday) at Gilbert Community Park, this festival celebrates the town's peach heritage with a day full of activities. It starts with a vibrant parade at 9:30 am and concludes with spectacular fireworks at 9:30 pm. Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, over 100 Art & Craft exhibits, an antique car show, children's rides, and a variety of peach-themed foods. The festival includes a student Peach Art Contest in May and Peach Pageants in June. Join the festivities and celebrate the "Queen of all Fruits" in Gilbert, SC.

Gilbert Community Park is a beautiful park located in the Town of Gilbert, adjacent to the Gilbert Elementary School. The shaded, scenic park has a 300 seat amphitheater, covered picnic areas, walking trails, a playground and restrooms. This park is home to the annual Peach Festival, held every Fourth of July.

Parking can be found throughout the Town of Gilbert. Locations coordinated by the Peach Festival are indicated on the map below. 

PARKING FEE - $5.00- Cash only: 100% of the proceeds are donated to the club that organizes and staffs each location. We appreciate your support of these organizations.

Arts & Crafts 

The Peach Festival features a diverse array of arts and craft vendors, offering a delightful shopping experience for visitors. Browse through unique, handmade items and discover one-of-a-kind treasures to take home.

Peach Parade

Thousands gather to watch the peachiest and most patriotic parade of the year! The parade begins on Hampton Street, near the corner of Harmony Street. The parade turns right on Main Street, climbs the big hill, and ends near Hayes Street at the access road to the Gilbert Middle School bus Loop. Our Grand Marshall kicks off the parade at 9:30 AM!

Card Show

The annual car show is hosted by the Sponsored by BSA Troop 60 of Gilbert. The show attracts over one hundred participants with their unique cars, trucks, and motorcycles from across the southeast. All classes of cars, trucks, and motorcycles are welcome.

Peach Pageants

The Miss Lexington County Peach Festival Pageant is back this year and BETTER THAN EVER! This will be a day filled with performances, personalities, pageant wear, and outstanding competition. 

The annual car show is hosted by the Sponsored by BSA Troop 60 of Gilbert. The show attracts over one hundred participants with their unique cars, trucks, and motorcycles from across the southeast.

Fireworks

The Gilbert Community Club proudly presents one of the most dazzling fireworks displays in the Midlands. The annual fireworks show in Gilbert, SC, is a must-see event. Spectators can enjoy the display from various locations, including Gilbert Community Park, Gilbert Middle School, and Gilbert Elementary School. The event proceeds rain or shine, though inclement weather, such as lightning, may affect the show. Fireworks usually start around 9:00 PM, so visitors are encouraged to check the festival website for the latest information.

Live Music

Live music plays all day at the festival, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy a variety of musical genres performed by talented local bands and artists. The continuous performances add to the vibrant energy of the event, making it a perfect backdrop for enjoying the festivities, sampling delicious food, and exploring the numerous art and craft exhibits.
