The Lexington County Peach Festival, hosted annually by the Gilbert Community Club, is a must-visit event in South Carolina. Held every July 4th (or July 3rd if the 4th falls on a Sunday) at Gilbert Community Park, this festival celebrates the town's peach heritage with a day full of activities. It starts with a vibrant parade at 9:30 am and concludes with spectacular fireworks at 9:30 pm. Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, over 100 Art & Craft exhibits, an antique car show, children's rides, and a variety of peach-themed foods.
