Which side should you stay?

Luxor is divided into East and West bank (basically both sides of the Nile River).

-East Bank: most populated (the city); the Luxor Temple, the Temple of Karnak, museums, trains, airport, hotels, restaurants.

-West Bank: major ruins including Valley of the Kings; the Valley of the Queens; the Temple of Hatshepsut, and a few riverside hotels.
