Positano is the main town that many think of when dreaming of their Amalfi Coast getaway. Busier streets and more to do, Positano is a must-stop when visiting Amalfi coast!

How to get there and back
If you decide to stay in Positano, as many do, you’re already here! But for those reading my other guides, I recommend to stay in Amalfi town and travel into the other towns each day via ferry.
I recommend an early start each day, taking the first ferry out and returning around 5pm to enjoy the evening back “home”.
Book your ferry ahead:
The ferry will drop you off at the port of Positano near Grande Beach and right into the action.
What to do
Be ready to walk up steps and hills, but the views and the shops along the way are worth the walk. The alternative is to find a beach club and enjoy the your day in the sun.
