This place is absolutely incredible. It's a fusion of diverse Latin American flavors, offering a fine dining experience at regular restaurant prices. Undoubtedly one of my favorites.

Puerta
@viajesdelmar__
Puerta is another one of those places that surprises you with its blend of flavors and ingredients. Very close to plaza armenia/ Palermo Hollywood. What I love most is that it's seasonal, so the menu changes regularly. It's affordable and offers one of the most superior dining experiences in the city.

Buenos Aires Verde
@viajesdelmar__
Buenos Aires Verde is located in Palermo Hollywood. While prices may seem slightly higher, the portions are generous. If you're not too hungry, a single dish can easily serve as two meals or is perfect for sharing. And don't miss out on the absolutely delicious desserts. It was my go-to spot whenever I felt the need to nourish and treat my body with love.

Fifi Almacén
@viajesdelmar__
This one is one of the best, albeit a bit pricier than the others, but it offers delicious food combinations and a great vibe. The service is excellent, and they also have delicious desserts. Plus, they have a really cool shop inside with natural cosmetics, preserves, sauces—must try!

Chuí
@viajesdelmar__
Chui is perfect for ordering many dishes and sharing. I love the decor because it makes you feel like you're not in Buenos Aires—full of plants and outdoorsy vibes. The cocktails are excellent, and I would choose to go at night. The pizza dough is spectacular, and they have fantastic dishes with mushrooms.

Gordo Vegano
@viajesdelmar__
We absolutely love Gordo Vegano! Located in the Belgrano neighborhood, it maintains and embraces typical Argentine flavors. They have hot dogs, empanadas, and excellent fast food. It's definitely worth trying; the desserts are out of this world. Personally, I used to go for the salads and bowls, which are spectacular.

MUDRÁ Plant-Based by Matthew Kenney
@viajesdelmar__
Mudra is a global chain of restaurants. Undoubtedly one of the priciest on the list, but let’s be real—compared to the rest of the world, prices in Argentina are still extremely affordable. The portions are small, but the flavors are divine. One of its biggest draws is the stunning architecture

Gioia Cocina Botánica
@viajesdelmar__
Now, this is the priciest spot on the entire list. Located in an architectural gem in the Recoleta neighborhood, it’s more than just delicious dishes—you're paying for the whole experience of dining in a Parisian garden. Perfect for special occasions!

Donnet
@viajesdelmar__
Donnet is located in my favorite neighborhood in the city, Chacarita. It has a very porteño style, and the entire menu is mushroom-based. If you’re a mushroom lover, this is your spot. It might be a bit overpriced, but the flavors are truly delicious. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re very hungry or if you want dishes with all the macronutrients, but for a drink and some small plates to share, it’s cool.

Casa Nueza
@viajesdelmar__
This spot is delicious! Perfect for brunch or a snack, with tasty salads, bakery, and pastry options. The café menu is extensive, and everything is vegan. Highly recommend! They've just opened a new location in Belgrano.

Seibo - plant based
@viajesdelmar__
Seibo has a menu to die for, but the service and atmosphere can be terrible. The last time I went, there was no music, and it felt extremely uncomfortable. Still, I’m keeping it on the list because it’s one of the only, if not the only, options in Recoleta if you don't have the budget for Gioia.

La Reverde parrillita vegana
@viajesdelmar__
Personally, I prefer dishes with actual veggies, nuts, grains, and seeds, but if you want the Argentine grill experience, this is the best option. If you love junk food, this is paradise. The food is delicious but expect a lot of seitan-based dishes and honestly, it’s quite greasy. But hey, that’s what you expect from a grill anyway!

Top Veg-Friendly Spots
La Manteca Negra
@viajesdelmar__
This place is incredible! You can build your sandwiches or bowls with high-quality ingredients in a non-touristy area of the city, Parque Saavedra. They sell kombuchas and super tasty refreshing drinks. It's perfect for packing your lunch and having a picnic in the park. They have different types of bread, very, very delicious and stylish.
They also have delicious desserts and sauces.

Cang Tin
@viajesdelmar__
This place also serves Asian cuisine. The place has a cool, unique design, with very tasty options and cocktails in Palermo Hollywood. There are tables both inside and outside, as is typical in Buenos Aires, on the sidewalk, facing the train. Some people find this cool, but when I took my family to visit, they hated it because of the noise. It depends on your vibe.

Bao Kitchen
@viajesdelmar__
This place offers more authentic Asian cuisine; the owners are from there, so the quality is superior. You can't miss their Pad Thai—absolutely delicious, beautiful, perfect.

Artemisia
@viajesdelmar__
This place is more hyped, usually with lines, and people are obsessed. It's not a big deal if you miss it, but it's a good option if you're in Palermo Hollywood and need some vegetables or a break from all the city's empanadas and pizzas. Portions are very generous, and what I like the most is the store inside with natural products, organic cosmetics, agendas, zero-waste products, etc.

Funga
@viajesdelmar__
Another spot with mushroom-based dishes, the place is cute and located in the beautiful neighborhood where I loved living, Colegiales. It's refreshing to get out of Palermo, and it has a really nice vibe. There aren't as many options for vegans, but if you're vegetarian, it's pretty good, with excellent service.
