Rome

Monti is my favorite neighborhood in Rome. I love to walk through the small and cozy streets. It's perfect for thrift shopping. You can also find many independent art shops here. This area of Rome also has its fair share of cute cafes and restaurants.

This cozy neighborhood is the perfect spot to have dinner and then grab a drink at one of the bars.

The painted ceiling in this church is stunning.

Ostia is a nice beach town near Rome, easily accessible by train. From the train station Roma Porta S. Paolo, next to the metro stop Piramide, it takes about 35 minutes to get to Ostia, and from there, it is a 10-minute walk to the beach.

My favorite pasta restaurant in Rome! I come back to eat here every time.

A perfect place for aperitivo. It's a nice spot to do some people-watching. Every evening there is a free light show opposite the bar at the Temple di Adriano, so you can enjoy your drink while learning a bit about the history of Rome.

On the backside of Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II is this rooftop cafe. It's free to enter the Monument, and the café overlooks the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. You can hear the music from the street performances below at Via dei Fori Imperiali.

A good place for breakfast, they sell amazing vegan croissants.
