A Vegetarian’s Guide to Walt Disney World

A Vegetarian’s Guide to Walt Disney World

As a former cast member, annual pass holder, and long time vegetarian, I love trying all the delicious foods at Disney World. This guide outlines my favorites in each park. Please note that menus are subject to change and it’s always a good idea to check before traveling.

Magic Kingdom

Cinderella's Royal Table

I recommend this location for breakfast. Breakfast is $69 per adult, plus tax and gratuity. You can choose from almost any of the entrees. I particularly love the Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast & Royal Avocado Toast.

Try lunch or dinner here. It’s $70 per adult, plus tax and gratuity. The Pan-roasted squash is divine and the vanilla cake with lemon curd is the perfect dessert.

I’m not a huge fan of buffet-style dining, but this location offers a great selection of salads, pastas, and vegetarian side dishes.

One of my favorite quick service spots in Magic Kingdom. I think the plant-based crab cake sandwich is fantastic.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
@katiegilmourtravelandtour
I’m a big fan of the breakfast buffet here. There are tons of plant-based options from sausage, tofu scramble, apple cakes, and more. It’s $55 per adult, plus tax and gratuity which I think is a steal for character dining.

San Angel Inn Restaurante
@katiegilmourtravelandtour
One of my favorite restaurants on property, but that may be because I’m obsessed with the avocado margaritas. Enjoy warm queso as your appetizer and then order the Huarache Vegetariano as your meal.

Enjoy the mushroom ravioli and reef salad. For an adult dessert, the Bailey’s Almanade is *chef’s kiss*

The corn bisque is delightful and Shepherds pie is such good comfort food after a long day in the parks. Also try the spoon bread on the side.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant
@katiegilmourtravelandtour
I love coming here just for the atmosphere. I don’t love paying $24 for an impossible burger or penne pasta, but it’s worth coming here once just for the experience. Almost all the apps are vegetarian friendly so I sometimes just get a few appetizers and a killer milkshake instead of ordering an entree.

Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano

Try the polenta or Italian pasta. I’m also just a glutton for mozzarella sticks.

The Felucian Kefta was surprisingly good. Reminded me of a falafel wrap and the puff is delightful.

Grab the tofu bowl for a quick service option. It’s very filling and at a much lower price point than a lot of the table service options.
