Bangkok

The Key Sukhumvit Bangkok by Compass Hospitality
@gracefkim
The Key is in the center of town, only steps away to the Asok Train Station, and is an extremely convenient location close to so many bars and restaurants! My preferred location to stay in Bangkok.

VIE Hotel Bangkok - MGallery
@gracefkim
The VIE Hotel is a bit on the pricier side, but they have some of the BEST service and kindest staff. The staff took care of all my needs immediately, and had every amenity that made me feel home away from home (i.e., gym, common room, buffet, bar, outdoor pool) My favorite activity was the open happy hour bar on the first floor from 3 to 6 PM. It was also a great place to meet others at the hotel with delicious snacks and finger food!

Chiang Mai

Chai Lai Orchid (Elephant Hotel)
@gracefkim
If you’re visiting Thailand, you need to experience waking up to elephants at your door. It is truly an experience of a lifetime and the staff takes such good care of you. I valued staying at the Chai Lai Orchid Hotel over others because they treat the animals with care and take care of them. The views are also spectacular as you’re served with a welcome drink the moment upon arrival.

Parasol Inn Chiang Mai Old City
@gracefkim
After staying at three different hotels in Chiang Mai, Parasol Inn was my favorite hotel stay. It’s in the center of a ton of tourist attractions, walking distance to the Chiang Mai walking street, a ton of street food, convenient store, accessible bars & amazing restaurants. Super budget friendly and the owner also has a restaurant downstairs as well, as you’ll get a discount when you first dine in!

Norden Glamping
@gracefkim
One of the cooler hotels experienced during my time in Thailand. You do need a vehicle to get to this location since there is no direction public transportation, but will be totally worth the trek. When you arrive, you are welcomed with the most aesthetic and delicious dinner, which you can confirm via WhatsApp. Note that because the hotel is located in the forest, to bring extra bug spray! Rain boots are also provided so you can venture into the backyard water stream, but it was definitely a one of a kind experience. The staff also doesn’t speak the best English, but thank God for Google translate!

Phuket

Hilton Garden Inn Phuket Bang Tao
@gracefkim
A little out of the way from popular beaches, like Patong Beach, but it is just the perfect distance away from all the chaos. It’s an extremely family friendly hotel as there are free shuttles offered to visit nearby beaches, and is walking distance to the Sunday Phuket Night Market.

Krabi

Red Ginger Chic Resort
@gracefkim
Truly a unique hotel experience as you’ll get the floating breakfast experience straight from your balcony. They also provide the option to serve either Thai or Western style breakfasts. The staff was so nice and so so accommodating, answering all my questions and concerns during my visit. They were so flexible with my schedule and made sure I experienced Krabi to the fullest potential during my stay.
