Dallas Hotel & Food Guide

Dallas Hotel & Food Guide

I spent five days in Dallas for a work conference and doubled it as a long weekend with my husband. We stayed at a resort style hotel and these are the places we ate / drank and loved

We loved this hotel!

Hotel Anatole is a quick Uber ride to anywhere we wanted to go and the amenities were resort like. My favorites were the resort style pool and the gym was five star. This would be a great hotel for family travel too as the pool includes a kid section and lazy river. This is one of the few resorts we have found in the states with a swim up bar which is typically where you find my husband for the majority of our trips. Beautiful, spacious, clean rooms. Comfy beds, room service, a phenomenal steak house on the 15th flor )(SER steakhouse), couple restaurants on the lower levels, a huge conference center, coffee shop, etc... Five stars!

Brunch

Sixty Vines
@jesstakethetrip
Yep I ate here twice in one trip: dinner I had the mushroom kale pizza w/goat cheese & a wine flight. It was so good I returned with Jordan for Brunch when he arrived: Try the egg & goat cheese frittata (whole egg for me) and you have to try the make your own mimosa bar.

Inside the Joule Hotel: the chilaquilles are the best I've ever had! Jordan loved the omelette

Lunch / Cocktails

Revolver Taco Lounge TO GO and Purepecha
@jesstakethetrip
Can't go wrong with their spicy marg! While I wasn't hungry enough to eat here I wish I would have tried at least one taco. This place was featured on a food show so I'm sure it was phenomenal!

Ebb & Flow
@jesstakethetrip
This place was a whole vibe! Top shelf cocktails and as silly as it sounds to go all the way to try fries - trust me in that you must try their bougie fries

Dinner

SĒR Steak + Spirits

Dinner with a view! Inside the Hotel Anatole. I shared the tomahawk, dirty martini was a hit, and our table shared several of the sides. They were all phenomenal!

Terry Black's Barbecue
@jesstakethetrip
Best BBQ in Texas IMO. Though Pecan Lodge was rated just as highly, and is down the street so if you're not willing to wait you could try there too

Pecan Lodge

We did not visit this one but more than one local recommended it if Terry Blacks' line was too long
