General Admission

💸Standard price (around 500$)
✅PROS: lineup is out, therefore you know the singers that will attend the festival
❗️CONS: higher cost
We bought the Early Bird Passes, because we would like to live the festival experience more than listen to specific singers. The purchase process is simple but you have a limited time to complete the booking, therefore is better to decide in advance everything you want to buy. The pass gives the access to the Venue (where concerts take place); if you want to sleep inside the Empire Polo Club you must book also the accommodation.
🏡ACCOMODATION
🚙Car Camping: perfect solution if you are a local.
✅PROS: You can carry more goods and you have more space
❗️CONS: The queue at the entrance/exit to perform the controls and everything is very long
⛺️Tent Camping: you can bring your tent or stay in the ones they set for you (obv is more expensive)
✅PROS: great mood and short lines
❗️CONS: not a very comfortable solution, the area is a bit far from the venue and toilets are really essential.
🏨Hotel: the choice for who wants just to attend the concerts.
✅PROS: comfort
❗️CONS: in my opinion, the risk is to miss something; the queue to enter/exit can be very long.
We decided to stay in the Tent Camping and we brought our tent from Italy. The experience is really cool and you have the opportunity to make many friends and have fun together. The downside are the toilets, but you just have to be prepared and bring with you as many wipes as you can!
Moreover, for those who stay in the tent/car camping there is a reserved area where you can find food trucks, a market, a Coachella shop and places where to create stuff as clothes (!!!) and jewels. Also, at the end of the concerts, they organize silent disco and in the morning you can have yoga lessons and partecipate to various games.
Finally, if you are a tent campers as us, I recommend you to book the Shuttle Bus from LAX, it’s the easiest and the only direct way to get to Indio at a fair price.
At the end of the day, would I do it again?
Yes, definitely 🌟
The atmosphere I experimented exceeded my expectations. Everyone is committed to live the best weekend of its life and you pretty soon understand that what is worth is not the line up but the overall experience.
