As one of the countries with the highest daily consumption of coffee, Danes certainly know how to roast their beans, and Denmark is, without a doubt, the right place to appreciate a good cup of Joe. With that said, here are a few carefully handpicked favourites to satisfy your caffeine cravings.
Keep in mind:
◾ Oat milk is a widespread dairy-free alternative, so don't hesitate to state your preference if you fancy a caffe latte or a flat white.
◾ Copenhagen tops as one of the most expensive cities in Europe. Prices range approximately from DKK30 ($4.50/4€) for a filter coffee to DKK50 ($7.50/7€) for a caffe latte. Make sure to budget accordingly.
◾ Most places offer great food options. Let yourself get tempted by the squishy sourdough buns with cheese and butter or the mouthwatering pastries!

An all-time favourite! Great atmosphere with a blend of concrete, marble and wood. Spacious, both inside and outside. Amazing pastries: I recommend trying the creamy spandauer or the massive almond croissant.

A hidden gem located in the outer part of Nørrebro! Highly appreciated for its out-of-this-world sourdough bread, their coffee is also delicious! If the place is busy like it usually is, take it to go and find a bench at the square nearby.
