Hotel & Food Guide: Pacific Coast Highway Road Trip

Hotel & Food Guide: Pacific Coast Highway Road Trip

I will share the boutique hotels we stayed in during our 5-day Pacific Coast Highway road trip. Starting in San Francisco, we made our way down the coast staying in the most charming boutique hotels along the way. Stops included Carmel and Santa Barbara. Interested in recreating the entire trip? Be sure to check out my detailed daily 6-day itinerary with all the stays, eats, and views along the way with an interactive map included.

Nights 1 & 2: San Francisco

Marriott Vacation Club Pulse, San Francisco
@jesstakethetrip
Previously was called Pier 2620 Hotel Fisherman's Warf: We found this was the perfect location for walking to and from all the destinations on our San Francisco day trip. I loved that it was close to the piers as well, offering great night views and sounds.

Surisan

It was the millionaire bacon for me, but I could devour everything on this menu over and over. This is easily top five of the best breakfast places I have ever experienced.

Night 3: Carmel

The Hotel Carmel
@jesstakethetrip
This was one of the most charming boutique hotels I have been too. We loved exploring the town, the bar happy hour, and the most adorable breakfast spread. There is unfortunately not a booking.com link for me to connect here, but I would 10/10 recommend this stay

Blackbird
@jesstakethetrip
We had our anniversary dinner here and the service was above and beyond. They brought us champagne to toast (sparkling water for me) and made us feel extra special on our special day. The food was phenomenal

SUGARFISH by sushi nozawa
@jesstakethetrip
We detoured to Kardashian famous Calabasas on our way to LA because I just had to swing by some of the shows favorite spots. We sampled a few rolls at Sugarfish first. Decent sushi, nothing over the top but I would dine again

Health Nut
@jesstakethetrip
I honestly never stopped craving these salads and I am no longer prego. I message the company on occasion to franchise in Indiana. Maybe someday my dreams will come true! This was another Kardashian show fave, the famous shaken salads. Love them or hate them, their salads are 10/10
