Bucharest Nightlife And Clubbing Guide
Cool party places
In the following places you can dance, talk, have fun with people from 20 to 40 years old. These are the places me and my friends often go to, so you might find me there during the weekends.
Clubs
For clubbing vibes you can try the following ones. They are fancier and more expensive. For some you will need to reserve a table that needs to include a minimum consumption that gives you some starting drinks. If you want special service, you usually tip the ones serving you. But be careful, they are not bought with 10-20 lei.

Safety - the party environment is generally safe, especially in the above mentioned locations. Nevertheless, you should always watch your belongings, as some people might want to benefit from your lack of attention due to having fun & some drinks and steal something.
! For girls especially - there have been reported some cases of drugs in drinks, very rare. But enough to make me give you a warning to watch you drink at all times and to not give it to someone else, or drink something that you don't see the bartender making.
Party hours - some close early just to hang out late in the evening, some are open 'til the morning, so make sure to check their opening hours when choosing.
Bad behavior ends up with you out of the location. All clubs have bodyguards that will not stay to talk to you, they will just escort you out if you drank way too much or if you disturbed or were aggressive with someone else. Same applies if you are inconsiderate while trying to flirt. The clubs have a good atmosphere and everyone is generally behaving, just be considerate to not disturb those around you.
! All drugs are illegal in Romania and police can stop to test you on the street.
