Day One- Orientation

Epernay is simple stunning and such a joy to stroll around, take time to explore the stunning architecture of the Avenue Du Champagne, the jewel in the crown of the champagne region where dozens of champagne houses their HQ.

No visit to the Avenue Du Champagne is complete without a visit to the champagne house Boizel with their beautiful setting and fabulous vintage delivery vans! Situated towards to top of the avenue is a pleasant walk and makes a perfect pit stop for a tasting.

In the afternoon head to may personal favourite champagne house that I visit every time I come to Epernay- the friendly team can not do enough to welcome you- Charles Mignon is simple wonderful and an absolute must for any visit  to this area- I thoroughly recommend their discovery tasting and tour!

Day Two- Exploring

Visit Hautvillers situated just outside of Epernay.  This beautiful village is where Champagne originates from, many small champagne houses are located here.  Take time to stroll around the village, visit the statue of famed monk Dom Perignon.  There are many champagne houses however my Hautvilliers favourite is Feydk, sipping champagne is their stunning courtyard is an absolute must!

If you don't have access to a car whilst in Epernay  there is another way to visit Hautvillers, on the charming Champagne bus!

Day Three- Time for the really fun stuff!

Now you are fully immersed to all things Champagne its time to visit some of the really big players and experience all the different aspects of this wonderful drink. No visit to Epernay is complete without a fabulous lunch at a famous champagne house! My recommendations for a full immersive final day are:

Moet and Chandon- for the pure luxury and prestige

Castellane- Home to highest tower in champagne this house focuses on the more commercial aspect

Mercier-  Take a train ride underground to visit the extensive cellars.
