You have MULTIPLE choices how to get to the first sight.

Either you'll take metro or a bus. The tickets you can buy directly in the subway or at the bus driver. If you prefer to take a walk through the city it's about 30min.

METRO - the nearest subway station is Vavin, take a line 4 until stop Odéon 

BUS - stop Vavin bus num. 58 Châtelet (every 12min) to the stop Théâtre de l'Odéon

Restaurant which promises guests unforgettable moments with the Italian art of living. Amazing menu with custom drinks. You have view to the city and the Eiffel tower it self! We had also a life music during the dinner. It was just AMAZING.

Last but not least

I personally consider you to climp up the Eiffel Tower after the sunset. You don't have an hour long queue and it has more calm vibes. Let's see the city with the night lights!

The tower is open until 11pm. with sparkling twinkles for five minutes at the beginning of every hour, starting at 8pm.
