π What's Inside?
- Located 2 km north of Paphos harbor, these ancient underground tombs have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980, alongside Paphos and Kouklia. Carved from solid rock, these tombs date back to the 4th century BC and are believed to be the final resting places of Paphitic aristocrats and officialsβno actual kings here, despite the name! Explore the fascinating architecture, with Doric columns and frescoed walls adorning some tombs, offering a glimpse into ancient burial practices.
