Hidden on a backstreet, a "passage", this spot is popular with foreigners who have been reading the good guidebooks. However, it's in no way a tourist trap, it's just a damn good restaurant.

Inventive chef - not always to everyones tastes, but always interesting. Ask to sit upstairs.

New chef every month! No reservations. Drop by and put yourself on the waiting list one hour before you want to eat and sit down for a drink around the corner.

Pop in for a tea and a piece of baklava

Cute and cramped. Stay long enough to take your Insta photo, then leave to make room for the next influencer!

Say bonjour, and order in their app! Really good coffee. Combine it with a butter croissant from Boulangerie Pâtisserie Maison Gaumer down the street and place yourself on the benches outside Panthéon.

Go for the babka! Always a queue around the block.

Buy a bottle at Delicatessen cave next door, and they'll serve it to you here.

Red wine, books and some cheese. It doesn't get more French than this.

Great cave/shop if you want to buy a couple of bottles to bring home. "The guy" who works there is super knowledgeable and speaks English very well.

On Thursdays and Sundays between 7am to 3pm, find fresh produce at the Boulevard Richard Lenoir. Fish, meats, poultry, cold meats, cheeses, olives, fruits and vegetables, flowers, wine...

Queer bookshop

For the hipster that won't go to just any market street - this one has one fromagerie, one boulangerie, one charcuterie, one poissonerie ... all of the eries.

Delicatessen, macarons, seafood, restaurants, cafés...

Do not miss this one. Even if you came just to experience the beautiful Japanese garden, the exhibition is equally as amazing.

Stunning views. Even if you're just a little bit gay, go on a Sunday when the sun's out, park your ass on the grass close to Rosa Bonheur (the bar). You're welcome.

Beautiful flowers! Beautiful animals! Beautiful buildings! A favorite running spot for Rasmus. If you're visiting during November-January, definitely go see the illumination exposition after sundown. Ticket prices are 15-18 Euros, but it's worth it.

Majestic. If the weather is nice, grab a book, buy an ice latte, and bask in the sun. Don't forget to check out the Medici Fountain.

Beautiful gardens and palatial buildings. Check out the Château and the Orangerie, and of course the peacocks! Good to know: There are two entrances to this park, as far as we could tell - one on the west side and on the east side.

Park/garden in front of palais du Louvre and palais des Tuileries. Great (but touristy) place for winter markets.
