You have different ways to experience this place, I suggest to take guided tour if your budget allows you; a lot of history and it's considered to be one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. Duration of visit: 3h. It's a must see!

Where to stay? There are so many hotels and guest houses in Sinaia depend on your budget.

Since I love to be close to nature I prefer guest houses:

Old mansion, vintage furniture, perfect for 1 night. Large and clean rooms, but small restaurant for breakfast. Nice staff! It's a 5 minute walk to the city center.

Day 2 + 3 - visiting Bușteni

What to do? You can choose from:

- take the cable car from Bușteni and visit Babele, Sfinxul and Ialomicioara Monastery and Cave (Tip: you can also visit by car from Sinaia- 36 km, just be careful on the road!)

Very fast to arrive at your destination - 15 min, not cheap, but it's worth it. I took round trip Bușteni Babele Cave ticket, you can pay cash or credit, but you need to pay an extra ticket- park entrance, only cash accepted.

2 hours away from Cabana Babele, unique in Europe, it was built to honor the memory of the Ceferist heroes who fell on duty in the First World War. A must-see place! You can have a picnic at the base, just bring your own food and water; fantastic view!
