ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Busra Kilisli
I looove eating and trying new food. For me, the first to do when I go to a place is to visit bakeries and supermarkets and beforehand research for restaurants. For me, the best way to explore the place is to get lost in the streets when you go to a city or a village. You will suddenly encounter an abandoned house, a beautiful home, or a restaurant with a great view; this is how you will create your own story for the place. I have much knowledge of plants and that is why I also love going for hikes in the places that I visit. Making your tea, preparing some snacks and going for a hike is a very connecting experience. I also connect old books or old prints, vintage things and antiques, or I just 'watch' them. They tell a story about the place which you wouldn't imagine. I find these experiences are important to fully live in the place that I visit. Going for a bar where locals go to, going for a coffee place, a bakery, a bookstore where locals shop. One truly lives the place fully.
