Breakfast Restaurants

Coffee Pot Restaurant
@alwaysonpto
The Coffee Pot Restaurant is a MUST while in Sedona. They have over 100 omelettes and a cute little patio to enjoy your breakfast on. This place is popular so there may be a little bit of a wait, but it is worth it. I also highly recommend purchasing one of their mugs from the gift shop. I purchased one several years ago and it is still my favorite mug.  The parking lot is tight here. Be patient as you wait for others to back out of their spot, or simply park in the Safeway parking lot nearby.

Red Rock Cafe
@alwaysonpto
A cute little breakfast spot where they have a 3-pound cinnamon roll! I opted for some breakfast oats and did not get the cinnamon roll when I visited, but it looked amazing and a ton of people sitting around us ordered it.

TORTAS DE FUEGO 1 WEST SEDONA
@alwaysonpto
A quick and casual Mexican restaurant serving tacos, tostadas and other traditional food in an intimate setting. This is a great lunch spot if you're short on time. I also recommend going there for dinner if you can't make lunch.

Dinner Restaurants

The Hudson
@alwaysonpto
The Hudson is one of my favorite restaurants ever. It has a beautiful patio overlooking the red rocks, delicious cocktails, and amazing food. The menu ranges from chopped salads, burgers, fish, chicken, ribs and steak. I recommend the blackened swordfish, which is 10/10. It is a little pricey but worth it! Make a reservation in advanced because they book up fast.

SaltRock Kitchen
@alwaysonpto
SaltRock has some of the best margaritas I've ever had. The restaurant is located within the Amara Resort and Spa, and overlooks the Snoopy Rock -- a red rock formation that looks like snoopy! I recommend making a reservation for their patio, which is their most popular seating area, well in advanced. Plus, if you have a reservation, the hotel will valet your car for free. My favorite things to order there: a margarita, grilled corn, and the cauliflower tacos.   Click into the details below to access the reservation link.

Elote Cafe
@alwaysonpto
Elote Cafe is award-winning and one of my favorite Mexican restaurants ever! They have the BEST margaritas so I highly recommend you get one -- or two! In the past, I've waited three hours just to eat dinner here because it is that good, but they now have a reservation system which makes it much easier. They allow reservations 60-days in advanced so definitely book as soon as you can because they fill up fast.  My favorite must-order items: Margarita, Elote, Grilled Halibut.

Dahl & Di Luca Ristorante
@alwaysonpto
If you're looking for something other than Mexican, I recommend stopping by Dahl & Di Luca Ristorante for an Italian night. It is very romantic inside and a great spot for a date night. You can't go wrong with any of their homemade pastas, and they have the best tiramisu!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hi there, welcome to my page! Nearly 10 years ago, I packed up all of my belongings and moved across the US from my childhood home in Massachusetts to Los Angeles. I had no job, and no plan, but just enough ambition to try something new that got me out of my comfort zone. It wasn't long after arriving in Los Angeles that I discovered my passion for traveling, adventure, and being outdoors. I've been exploring non-stop ever since and have been lucky enough to experience 7 countries, 25 states, and 15 National Parks. I'm an expert in west coast travel, having explored much of California, Arizona, and Utah. I'm a hiker, camper, and love to explore off the beaten path, which you'll see reflected in all of my guides and itineraries. Because of my full-time job and limited PTO, I plan my travel ambitiously, often times driving or flying somewhere on a Friday after work for a weekend. I try to fit in seeing as much of a destination as I possibly can on my trips (even if that means sacrificing some sleep!). I'm always thinking about my next adventure and am very excited to help you plan yours! I hope you're able to find some inspiration with my guides and itineraries, and discover a new place that you want to add to your bucket list.
