Fore Street Restaurant
@melinnewyork
Living in New York, I am a self-proclaimed food critique. Fore Street Restaurant knocked my socks off. The service, the ambience, the fresh fare - it was a truly magical meal. It's worth stopping in Portland simply for dinner here. Be sure to make a reservation 2-3 weeks in advance.

The Holy Donut

These potato based donuts are unreal! Not too sweet, and exciting flavors. I opted for Lemon Holy Cannoli and Apple.

The Waterfront Restaurant

Opt for a table outside for a serene view of the Camden harbor. The menu skews towards seafood, but has plenty of non-seafood options as well.

Great Head Trail (Acadia National Park)
@melinnewyork
No trip to Bar Harbor is complete without visiting beautiful Acadia National Park. You will need a National Parks Pass - if you don't have one, you'll need to purchase one from a Ranger Station. We hiked Great Head Trail, which is an easy to moderate hike (about 2 miles, 250ft elevation gain). The hike features forest time, stunning cliff views, and a trip down to Sandy Beach (pack your swim suit!).

Beer lovers rejoice! Federal Jacks sits atop Kennebunkport Brewing Co., and offers plenty of local brews. In fact, it's the birthplace of Shipyard. Grab a Shipyard Pumpkinhead if in season.
