I've been to towns and villages far off the beaten path. My expertise is focused on the Basque Country (which happens to be very "in" right now!), where I lived for nearly 3 years, and Barcelona, which I visit at least twice a year and have a vast knowledge of due to my understanding of the local language and the local friends I've made. My love for Barcelona has allowed people to fall in love with a city considered by many people now to be a glorified theme park by showing them a world beyond what they've seen in travel blogs and Instagram. As an adopted local, I can help you understand why San Sebastián is so popular, while also taking you off the beaten path and exploring more. I can help explain why Gaudí is so famous, while also allowing you to experience his contemporaries' works and why Barcelona is so famous for its architecture.
