Hey! My name is Tom, a Roman obsessed with his city. I was born in Rome and grew up here till the age of 12, before moving to the UK and living there for almost 10 years. I am half Italian (from my mum's side) and half English (dad's side). I still spent a lot of time in Rome and Italy, visiting all my friends and family multiple times a year. I've previously worked as a chef for almost 8 years, including 4 of these in a Michelin recognised Italian restaurant. A few years ago I decided to move back home, as I felt it was the right place for me and where I wanted to be long-term. I now work as a freelance translator. Ever since I came back, I immersed myself in Rome's culinary delights to expand my already significant food & beverage repertoire. In addition, I discovered a new passion for Rome's immense and mesmerising art, including churches, museums, viewpoints and much more.
