Dog-friendly trip through Colorado's four national parks and some stops in between :)
I took this trip in mid-October while I was living in Billings, MT. If driving isn't an option, I recommend flying into Denver, renting a car and doing Rocky Mountain NP last.

Welcome to the most geographically diverse country in the world, the U.S.A.! This guide is written based off of a road trip that we took in late 2020. The full itinerary is a little over three weeks (23 days, 22 nights), starting and finishing in Orlando (where we were living at the time).
The best part about the itinerary? It's a loop! Allowing you to start and finish wherever. This itinerary is 100% personalizable and as many stops can be added or removed as you'd like. This route offers some amazing places, including the beaches in Florida, the deserts of the southwest, and the coastlines of California.
The most optimal time to take this road trip is during the summer as you'll find the best weather everywhere. But because we're mainly down south, you can take this road trip in the winter without too much trouble in the snow.
This itinerary includes 15 states, nine National Parks, 6000+ miles, and all of the costs we incurred along the way. This itinerary also includes things to see, places to eats, and our favorite things in each location. This itinerary does not include overnight accommodation, so it is necessary to find hotels/airbnbs on your own.

2022 was the year of a lot of travel redemption for most of us, but it was also the year I had to turn down trips to Portugal, Spain, and Paris, as well as have a trip to New Orleans cancelled due to Covid. But thankfully that didn’t stop me from a spring road trip to Texas, a few summer days in DC, two trips to Disney World, and lots of Tennessee day trips in between. Enjoy this travel journal of 350 (!!!) places, including:
🖼️ 42 Museums, Gardens, and Attractions
☕️ 50 Coffee Shops
🍽️ 99 Restaurants, Bakeries, and Food Trucks
🛏️ 38 Hotels, Bed & Breakfasts, and Airbnbs
✨ and a whole bunch more!

In the record breaking '23-'24 year, I was buried under 600 inches of fresh powder living as a ski-instructor in SoCal's favorite mountain town. While I was shoveling myself out, I learned some of the secrets of Mammoth Lakes that make the town special outside of Alterra's incredible mega-resort. Experience the town like a true local with tips for:
❄︎ Cafés
❄︎ A Base Area Breakdown (which of the 3 is best for you!)
❄︎ Mammoth's Best Runs (and lesson tips)
❄︎ Hot Springs
❄︎ Hikes
❄︎ Indoor Fun
❄︎ Restaurants (with gluten free, of course!)
❄︎ Après-Ski
❄︎ Lodging
❄︎ Getting Around

The Shasta-Trinity region of California is one of my favorites & really deserves to be visted more. This area is great for all types of adventurers. There's a lot to do if you're really into outdoor recreation, but there's also a lot you can see by parking at viewpoints, walking short trails, or simply driving around, so it's great for all levels of activity.
This is a really great area to visit during any season, but its worth keeping in mind that summer can be hot at lower elevations. That said, there's also some great swimming spots for cooling off. In the winter, the lower elevation areas can be in the 50s, and Shasta will have more snow on it, which looks really beautiful. In the Spring you get wildflowers, and in the Fall you get Fall colors.
This guide includes everything you need for a 4-7 day trip to this region. If you don't have that much time, you can choose what you'd like to do & come back again to do the rest! It includes details for camping, hotel accommodation, view points, hikes, food & drink, and all the reasons I love this area.

Central Oregon is a stunning place to visit. It's off the beaten path from the bustling urban atmosphere of Portland (~3.5 hours away) and it's the perfect destination if you're into brews and views. Oregon's landscape is truly unmatched and it holds a special place in my heart after living in the state for 5 years.
Unlike the moderate climate of the west coast, central Oregon is well known for its winter and spectacular skiing. But, I recommend visiting Bend in the warmer months from May - September to experience the sunny mountain town vibes, enjoying the endless patio dining options, hitting the trail, floating the river, or biking through the high desert scenery.
In this guide I've outlined some fun activities, recommendations for lodging, as well as the top spots for breakfast, great bites, and top notch breweries.

This guide is written with the intention of making the most of all this City has to offer - nature, views, city life, restaurants and bars, sports, music - with minimal planning.
To make is easier to read I have split the guide into sections of things to do regardless of the season and then activities for each season. You can pick and choose events on how active you want this trip to be and how far you want to venture out of the city. (Find some transportation tips at the end of the guide :))
