My dad, an avid adventurer, instilled in me a love for adventure and an insatiable curiosity about the world. As I grew older, my fascination with travel only deepened. I found myself engrossed in books about far-off places, dreaming of the day I would get to travel and do things spontaneously. I studied Interior Architecture, with a love for all things aesthetic as well as the beauty of buildings, the history behind some of them and well... the pure appreciation of them. This, oddly enough, made me more aware and appreciative of the beautiful historical architecture in the places I travel to, even extending to the small wooden cabins I have stayed in. Shiela and Simon are avid travellers who have seen first-hand the impact that tourism can have on the environment and local communities. They realised that there was a need for travel information and resources that focused on sustainable, responsible travel, and so ecoconscious travel was born. The aim of our ecoconscious travel is to provide an information resource and online booking platform where eco-conscious travellers can easily find and book high quality tourism experiences that align with their values – presented from a trusted source who knows and can recommend those experiences. Our Mission We are a team of passionate travellers and environmental advocates who believe that travel can be a force for good in the world. Our mission is to inspire and empower travellers to make sustainable choices that benefit both the planet and the communities they visit.
