Autumn in Colorado is all about hunting those vibrant golden sparkles of Aspen leaves that cover the mountain meadows and hillsides. Silverthorne & Dillon are small adjascent towns located on the banks of the drop dead gorgeous Dillon Reservior. These towns serve as the gateway to Summit County's world class ski areas. Visiting during fall means all the fun, plus smaller crowds than winter. Just an 1 hr 15 min drive from Denver, this area really has it all!
