I have been traveling since I was 14 years old, but I've done most of my traveling in my adult years. I have already been to 16 countries so far and I am looking forward to many more. As far as my traveling goes, what I always try to do is travel without breaking the bank, I don't want just one week vacation per year where I leave all my savings, I am always on the lookout for cheap flight tickets and so I try to travel as much as possible, usually I visit around 7 places each year. So buckle up and get ready, because once you've been bitten by the travel bug there's no going back, and if you do it the way I do it you will really never want to stop!

I prefer a loose itinerary and remain open to what each day brings. My favorite things to do and see as I travel are... - EAT - Try whatever is local. Order the special of the day. Talk with the restaurant staff. - WALK - It encourages me to slow down, notice, and get a feel for community. - HIKE - I'm a lazy hiker. By "hike," I mean a few hours at a slow pace. - MUSEUMS - Spend an afternoon. Read the descriptions on exhibits. Talk with the docents. Buy something in the giftshop. - CHURCHES - I'm fascinated by the various ways people have worshipped the God of the Bible over centuries and across borders. Many older churches are also museums or tourist-friendly spaces. Some additionally hold regular liturgical services. - CASTLES - Castles, fortresses, palaces, big ol' houses: these places transport me back in time.
