During the last 7 years I have been traveling around the world and trying to find my way to live traveling. The first 3 years I hitchhiked around South America discovering my own country Peru and visiting Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Ecuador. After South America, 4 years ago I started my travels in Europe and Africa. I have been in Spain, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, UK, Turkey, Poland and Morocco. I travel slow, I like to just get inmerse into a daily life as a local so I am the kind of nomad that spend months in one country or city or decide to move for a while in a new country and come back many times and see how a place has changed, how new people and new times in life can bring me new experiences in the same place. I volunteer while traveling mainly in hostels, I also use couchsurfing hosting or as a guest, sometimes wildcamping, sometimes I travel hitchiking, sometimes renting a car or with plane, train or buses. During this years traveling I lived in Cusco, Peru for 1 year and also in Cordoba, Argentina and lately in Istanbul, Turkiye. Planning my next destination and happy to help you plan yours!

My ideal day in a new city involves wandering the streets of a new neighborhood to get a feel for its energy, ducking into an art gallery or museum to see something inspiring, and then stopping for an afternoon coffee and chocolate chip cookie. At night, you'll more likely find me in a cocktail bar than a club. I also love to hike, camp, and be near the ocean! I lived for 8 years in San Francisco, and spent extended time in Lima, Peru and Mombasa, Kenya. Even though I've moved back to my hometown of Washington, DC, I still stay up to date on the SF food scene and travel back often for work! I'm pretty tapped into the DC food and coffee scene. Do you spend your workdays daydreaming of random itineraries and mapping out the best way from Sofia, Bulgaria to Prístina, Kosovo? Yes? We are seasoned travelers who have been to over 50 countries. But we hate checking boxes and we are not trying to hit all the major attractions. If you want to run from the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame, we may not be the right guide for you. If you want to hit up the Hard Rock Cafe in Yerevan on a Thursday to watch a Filipino cover band play Nirvana, then I think you’ll like our style. We know we’re all strapped for time and it’s hard to really get to know a place in 7-10 days, but we are firm believers that it is possible. In our travels we try to seek out those places where you will catch a slice of local life. Where you will look around you and think to yourself, “I am a long way from home.” We love that feeling and even if you’ve never had that opportunity, we think when you feel it you will fall in love with travel too.
