Let me introduce myself - my name is Rene and despite being a graphic designer by trade, my true calling is travel planning. I prioritize travel over everything and all my friends know it! So for years now my inner circle has called me up for anything from finding the best flights to deciding where to go based on their specific criteria. And now we can be friends too! Depending on what information you are looking for and how much detail you need you can choose from the different packages below. I specialize in places that I have been to multiple times (or have just spent a lot of time in) like Morocco, Iceland, and Bali - but over the years I have explored more than 22 countries and I'd love to share tips, tricks and itineraries with you so that you can spend more time enjoying your adventure and less time stressing about the planning!!

👋🏼 Hi! I'm Rene, but I am also known as RWood or RenegadeRoaming (my mom gave me that nickname ☺️)

Let's talk a little about me so you can decide if we're a good fit! 

I have spent most of my life traveling, first as an "Air Force brat" and then as an adult who just refuses to "grow up." I've lived in 4 countries and visited over 22 around the world. 🌍 

I prioritize travel in my life - and when it comes to being on the road, I like to try a lot of different styles of travel: 

- hostel in Barcelona where I shared a room with 7 other strangers? ✅
- resort in the rice paddies of Ubud where I had a floating breakfast in my private pool? ✅
- camper van rental where I slept in a different campsite every night for two weeks traversing the entire island of Iceland? ✅
- affordable, but well appointed room in a traditional Riad in Marrakech where I ended up extending my stay out to 4 weeks? ✅ 👀

And in all of these places I had the opportunity to have amazing adventures from climbing down massive cliffs to an isolated beach  in Nusa Penida 🏝️ to relaxing in a traditional Hammam in Fes. So whether its hiking up to an active volcano 🌋 , partying at a beach front club in Uluwatu or riding a camel to a luxury camp in the Sahara desert 🐪 , I'll work with your preferences to build you an itinerary that you love. 

I share these things about myself is so that you understand the type of experience and knowledge I have and how it can be useful to you in putting together a custom itinerary that will make you as happy as travel makes me!
