📍I've lived in Western Australia for over 16 years when I lucky enough to move here as a kid, and I made sure to take the opportunity to eat my way through the best brunch places in town, hike to beautiful waterfalls and travel extensively along WA's most gorgeous south. Hi! We are Katie and Joe! We quit the corporate life in 2022 after a decade of global advertising and photography experience to travel the world. We converted a 2022 Ford Transit Van to be our mobile home on wheels. Since we completed Clifford (he's big and red), we've been to Colorado, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Utah, Oregon, Washington, up the Alaskan Highway, and into Alaska. We are on a quest to see all 63 US National Parks, so far we've seen 41 in 2023 and more to come. We were both raised in Colorado but have spent the past 10 years bouncing around New York City, NY, Berlin, Germany, Detroit, Michigan. While those are fantastic places filled with wonderful memories, we are happy to be closer to our families in Colorado. I got to experience the parks like a local, because I had no timetable, no flights to catch, no rental car to return, etc. Some parks I stayed only for a few hours, and others for over a week. I chatted with park rangers, stayed with people that lived nearby, and camped with others at some amazing campsites. The travel guides I share give you an "insider" look at the national park, with tips for the best hikes, tricks for finding campsites (but I always include hotel options too), as well as information about the various aspects of the parks.
