Ali Haymes
Lives in Chicago, IL, USA
Hi there! My name is Ali and I'm your friendly digital nomad, free-spirit, travel obsessed cat lady. I've been traveling my whole life and have now visited 47+ countries (and counting!) I love inspiring others to get out and see the world, and create a life of freedom for themselves 💖 My travel style is slow, immersive, and authentic. I love getting to really know a place by staying there for a few weeks and working remotely as I go (which allows me to also create the best guides for you!). I now mostly travel with my partner but previously I was a solo travel gal, so I provide insight on both - whether you're on your own adventure or traveling with a buddy. I also adore yoga, wellness, and self growth so I always seek out these experiences and communities when I'm abroad 🧘‍♀️ I hope that through my content you're able to discover the BEST places to live, work, and travel from the perspective of a digital nomad. I'm here to inspire you to take the leap and explore places you've never been before, with the confidence that you have the best recs at your fingertips. You can expect favorite cafes, the best restaurants (including lots of veggie places!), the can't miss hot spots and adventures, beautiful hotels that don't break the bank, and so much more. As a previous life coach, I also love helping people 1:1 to curate and plan their dream trips. Don't hesitate to reach out and let's chat about creating an unforgettable adventure for you!

Sara | @expathaven
Lives in Brighton and Hove, Storbritannien
A serial expat and passionate travel planner, I'm here to inspire and empower your future travels, so you can take the stress out of travel planning and just enjoy the ride. If you're curious about moving abroad but need someone to bounce ideas with or ask question, I'd be happy to be your sounding board too. My name is Sara, I'm originally from Sweden and I've lived in the UK for over 7 years now. I'm passionate about travel, learning about new cultures, and discovering new places. This far, I have been fortunate enough to live in 4 countries and visit 28. I love planning trips and excursions, and I wish to share my excitement, recommendations and travel tips&tricks with you. When I travel myself, I tend to look for beautiful views, good places to eat and/or people watch, and good value places to stay. I tend to look at budget-medium-splurge options when I plan and depending on what budget that specific trip warrants, I'll have a recommendation to meet it. I have first-hand lived-in experience of places like Stockholm, Vienna, Atlanta (USA), Michigan (USA), and Brighton (the UK) as well as lots of travel experience around Europe, but I also love to research new places and create travel plans based on specific wish lists or criteria. If you are looking for a personalised guide or itinerary for a specific place, please reach out and let's have a chat.

Kayla Fedeson
Lives in New York, NY, USA
Hey there, I'm Kayla! I have lived in New York City for over 10 years and have been traveling the world for more than 15. Through solo travels, those with friends, and group tours, I know firsthand what places you need to see on a trip, as well as those that you should see and may have never heard of. I am a history nerd, nature junkie, and huge sports fan, so my ideal trip combines all three of these things. I love ancient sites and exploring as many around the world as I can, am trying to go to all 400+ United States National Park Sites and all 30 MLB stadiums, and travel every four years for the Women's World Cup. If you are looking for guidance on where to take a short break, longer break, or adventure, I am your go-to. I can make recommendations on where you should look, tell you all of the things you can do in your destination, as well as the things you cannot miss. As I develop this page further, I want to be a resource full of fun facts and personalized recommendations on what you should do and where you should go. I have traveled to 34 US states, plus DC and Puerto Rico, and 38 countries. I've been giving friends my extensive travel guides for free for years, so now it's my turn to share with you. Living off a credit card and minimum wage for the first year in NYC with a ton of curiosity, I had to find ways to do everything on the cheap. I went to pay-what-you-wish nights at museums, found free things to do, and still very rarely do I pay full price for a Broadway show (and if I do, I know how to save at least $10). I can tell you about a lot of fun expensive things, but if you are looking to travel on more of a budget (it's a cruel world out there), I can help with that too. Travel is my passion, but I love rock climbing, softball, running, & reading too.

Costa Tica Travel
Lives in Guanacaste Province, Coco, Costa Rica
Hi! I'm Kimi, your Costa Rica expert! ☀️ I've been living in Guanacaste, Costa Rica for three years now, but I have been a repeat traveler to CR since 2016. My experiences have enabled me to create carefully crafted content inspired by local knowledge. ➡️ Living in Costa Rica has given me the opportunity to get to know Costa Rica's top destinations authentically. Before living in Guanacaste, I lived in Heredia, outside of San Jose, for 5 months. From Tamarindo to Puerto Jimenez, Monteverde to Uvita, Puerto Viejo to Playas del Coco, I've had the opportunity to travel to all different destinations and discover many hidden gems off the typical Costa Rica itinerary. As far as types of travel, I'm a big advocate of slow travel, but I have done many different kinds of travel within CR. I have planned or helped others plan backpacking, family, and girl trips to this beautiful country. Working as an international teacher has given me a different perspective in advising longer trips to Costa Rica. I've learned many tips and tricks for finding community, getting around without a car, leasing an apartment, learning Spanish, renting a vehicle, and surviving in the hot province of Guanacaste. It's very important to me, as a traveler, that I understand the cultural context of the country I am traveling to. My goal is to help my clients feel comfortable and confident in Costa Rica, while respecting this country's unique norms and culture. My itineraries and guides are designed with all kinds of travelers in mind. From solo traveling to family trips, I've helped many people plan their dream vacation to Costa Rica. My goal is for you to experience Costa Rica at its most authentic, getting to know and interact with its unique culture and biodiversity. I’m excited for all that awaits you when you answer the call to this natural wonderland. I’m happy to help in whatever way I can along the way! Pura vida!
