Since I was very young I had a sense of wonder that there must be more than just the place I grew up (Germany) and that one day I will be able to see more. The fact that I played professional football allowed me to travel to different places around the globe. After I stopped playing, the hunger for the world had just begun. I traveled almost the whole world by myself (some spots are still on the list) and became the first professional luggage packer in the world. I am serious, I can prepare my luggage under any circumstance in under 30 minutes while listening to music and thinking about my trip. Jokes aside, traveling can be amazing but there is certainly the down site as well. I have to admit that there were moments I felt lonely and I didn’t know what to do or where to go next but this was never a hurdle for me to stop. Traveling without a plan and learning how to listen more to my gut made the journey far more interesting, I mean there is always a plan in no planing somehow but I love to just go for it without thinking too much. I learned how to say no to what I don’t want without feeling bad. In every country I have been I was able to find a place to make money and if this is something you are concert with I assure you that there are enough options to work and make money while traveling. I am traveling solo for more than 13 years and I am just 32. But to be fair nobody is alone ones he goes out to the world with an open heart. My best part of traveling is the actual experience of having the whole world in front of me and certainly the taste of freedom and the opportunity to discover new places and things. I have traveled for work the majority of my life, but always find time on each trip to find the best local spots. I've visited 49/50 states and lived in 8 states, not to mention the temporary ones I call home for weeks on the road with work. I love a good road trip with the windows down and amazing music while finding the best local coffee shops and hikes. Sometimes even the quickest trip to a nearby town is enough to satisfy the travel bug. I am a massive foodie and will always seek out the best meals to have in each city I visit. A good meal can tell a lot about the culture and the town that you are in and often is what you remember most when you leave. No trip is too big or too small to plan. I love all types of adventure and can't want to help you plan yours!
