Hello there! My name is Clar! Having moved around to 4 different countries in my childhood, I identify as a third culture kid and love exploring the world. In particular, I love getting the feel of a city, living how the locals live and finding unknown hidden food gems. My style of travel can be described as "slow" and "easy-going". I don't enjoy checking off attractions like a checklist and that it is a must to visit everything in a set location. Rather than feel rushed, I'll selectively pick specific attractions; sometimes out of obligation of "did you really go to ___, if you didn't see ___" but also if there is some personal interest of mine. I've personally done a fair bit of solo female travelling and road tripping with my partner. My trips seek to find the balance to explore both the thrilling hikes but also finding joy in exploring the mundane local supermarkets. Do you spend your workdays daydreaming of random itineraries and mapping out the best way from Sofia, Bulgaria to Prístina, Kosovo? Yes? We are seasoned travelers who have been to over 50 countries. But we hate checking boxes and we are not trying to hit all the major attractions. If you want to run from the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame, we may not be the right guide for you. If you want to hit up the Hard Rock Cafe in Yerevan on a Thursday to watch a Filipino cover band play Nirvana, then I think you’ll like our style. We know we’re all strapped for time and it’s hard to really get to know a place in 7-10 days, but we are firm believers that it is possible. In our travels we try to seek out those places where you will catch a slice of local life. Where you will look around you and think to yourself, “I am a long way from home.” We love that feeling and even if you’ve never had that opportunity, we think when you feel it you will fall in love with travel too. My travel planning story started with a honeymoon to Italy and since then it has grown each and every year. I love all kinds of travel!
