Hi, I'm Adeline! I fell in love with Japan on my first trip there in 2013. I was lucky enough to be able to move to Fukuoka, in western Japan, in 2014. I started a fitness studio, where I led group hikes in the countryside and taught yoga classes in English to a mix of locals and expats. In my free time, I loved going to onsen, Japanese hot springs, and learning about the traditional tea ceremony. My husband and I met and married in Japan, then moved to Colorado in 2018 where I spent several years working for InsideJapan Tours as a Travel Consultant. I started Savor and Soak Travel Co. because I have a passion travel and love talking all things Japanese culture, food, and language. I am recent college grad who has been planning my family's vacations, and then my solo travels, since I was 11 years old! I'm from New York, so NYC is my specialty, but I've been all over the East and West Coasts, as well as much of Europe, and I'm looking to travel to Asia soon. Hi! I'm a ninteen year old girl whose hobby is traveling. You might think that I'm a little too young to know stuff about traveling and to give out advice, but I've been traveling since I was a little girl, because even though I was born and raised in Italy, I'm also half bulgarian from my dad's side, so, since I can remember, we've been going to Bulgaria at least once a year. Also, my family has always been keen on traveling and whenever we had the chance we would go away even just for a few days. I started traveling alone when I was about fifteen years old, just by going to a friend's house, and then the next year I got on a plane all alone for the first time (and haven't stopped since). I think that you guys should trust me with advice because that's honestly all I can give you, all my facts are based on experience and I wouldn't want you to miss out on what a place might offer; plus, I really love helping people and it brings me a lot of joy when they benefit from my advice, in the end it's like I also benefit, because I think that every experience, even just a small interaction with a person can be life changing.

Welcome to my (and hopefully our) adventures! I have lived all over the United States, and I have a passion for the outdoors and budget-travel. My style of travel is easy-going, yet filled with adventure and excitement. I focus on connecting with people and community, as well as immersing myself in the outdoors as much as possible. Finding a balance between these two have led to some amazing memories, and I cannot wait to share them with you. Most recently, I lived in my car for over seven months, while I visited every National Park in the lower 48. I hiked, camped, met amazing people, and hiked some more. I got to experience the parks like a local, because I had no timetable, no flights to catch, no rental car to return, etc. Some parks I stayed only for a few hours, and others for over a week. I chatted with park rangers, stayed with people that lived nearby, and camped with others at some amazing campsites. The travel guides I share give you an "insider" look at the national park, with tips for the best hikes, tricks for finding campsites (but I always include hotel options too), as well as information about the various aspects of the parks.
