Since 2022, that place has been Portugal (and the Azores Islands), where I have travelled at every opportunity I get - six times thus far. I have explored a different location/aspect/travel modality each time. From taking trains to get around the country, to renting a manual transmission car and getting stuck in the summer heat on an uphill off-the-map backroad of a vineyard in the Douro, to cycling from Lisbon to Sintra on three broken gears - I've done it all. I am a Southern California native, mother of two, military spouse and travel lover currently located in Naples, Italy.
