I'm a high school librarian who loves traveling. When school is not in session, I am out exploring new places and activities. I love paddleboarding, going to the beach, snowboarding, food and wineries and breweries. Hey! I'm originally from Southland, New Zealand but now base myself in the capital city Wellington. I love New Zealand and I love exploring my beautiful country. Growing up my family took us on a month long roadtrip round the country every year. As an adult I get out and explore every chance I can! In particular I love outdoor experiences, hiking, kayaking, and seeing the beauty of New Zealand. My favourite part of the country is probably Mount Aspiring National Park. I spent some time in London - about 7 years - and had my first job in Singapore. Growing up, I was often spent my school holidays in Japan for family reunion. When I travel, I enjoy going solo and trying local foods. I'm also interested in learning about different cultures, history, and art. It's always fascinating to see how these aspects shape a place. One thing I really enjoy is taking photos when I explore a new city. I'm particularly fond of using film cameras, though I'm still learning and improving. Sometimes I also write a bit or do some sketches - it's just a nice way to remember the places I've been. I tend to prefer quieter spots - the hidden gems when I travel.
