Danielle Cohen
Lives in Florence, Metropolitan City of Florence, Italy
Ciao! My name is Danielle and I'm a Californian from San Diego, who's been living full time in Florence, Italy since 2020. I studied in Florence in 2016 and absolutely fell in love with the food, culture, and history, and made it my mission to move back. I moved right before the pandemic, and staying here through all the lockdowns and pandemic life really helped me discover slow travel and find all of Italy's beauty, including lesser known gems, and off the beaten path travel spots. During my three years in Florence, I have wrote for publications like The Florentine, done freelance marketing with restaurants and a travel agency, giving me high insight into the best destinations, foodie spots, and more. I am here to help you make the most of your vacation in Italy with curated itineraries for every type of traveler and digital maps to help you enjoy THE BEST food each region has to offer. Let me do the work so you can just relax and enjoy, without any stress! I've had a very unique experience living in Italy the last 4 years, as I made my official move right before the pandemic, after visiting for years. Because of this I learned to travel locally and deeply throughout the numerous incredible destinations in Italy and for that I cater my travel services to finding the most local and mindful experiences, keeping true to discovering and appreciating Italy's culture.

The Lavender Travelers
Lives in Melbourne VIC, Australia
Welcome to the world of The Lavender Travelers! We're Jess & Julia - a Brit and an American living in 🇦🇺 Australia. As queer, 30-year-old budget travelers, we understand the importance of making every penny count while still enjoying the finer things in life. Our passion for sharing amazing local food, finding top wallet-friendly accommodation, and curating authentic experiences drives every aspect of our travel planning. Our guides reflect our current stage of life. Gone are the days of wild parties for us; instead, we embrace the motto of early to bed, early to rise (with the occasional late night thrown in still 😉). We love nothing more than people watching in a café with a morning coffee, exploring in the afternoon, then hitting the night market in the evening. We plan trips for all sorts of people, but we’re particularly passionate about connecting with those who love good food, are culturally curious, and are seeking immersive experiences that transcend the typical backpacker party scene. So whether you're yearning to wander through historic cobblestone streets or lose yourself in the vibrant colors of a bustling market, let The Lavender Travelers be your compass. With us, the world is yours to explore – authentically, passionately, and unapologetically 🏳️‍🌈. If you have any questions, send us a message! We're happy to chat any time.

Amy Is Going Places
New Pro
Lives in Johnson City, TN, USA
US native. Former resident of Romania. Current solo female globe trotter. I've ventured to more than a dozen countries across four continents as part of group tours, volunteer work, solo travel, studying abroad, and teaching internationally. I lived for over a year in Romania, many years in Tennessee, and several months in England. My travel style is slow, spontaneous, and - shall we say - richly flavorful. I prefer to stay longer lengths in places instead of having a whirlwind sightseeing venture. I'll skip the chain restaurants for a hole-in-the-wall café any day of the week. I prefer a loose itinerary and remain open to what each day brings. My favorite things to do and see as I travel are... - EAT - Try whatever is local. Order the special of the day. Talk with the restaurant staff. - WALK - It encourages me to slow down, notice, and get a feel for community. - HIKE - I'm a lazy hiker. By "hike," I mean a few hours at a slow pace. - MUSEUMS - Spend an afternoon. Read the descriptions on exhibits. Talk with the docents. Buy something in the giftshop. - CHURCHES - I'm fascinated by the various ways people have worshipped the God of the Bible over centuries and across borders. Many older churches are also museums or tourist-friendly spaces. Some additionally hold regular liturgical services. - CASTLES - Castles, fortresses, palaces, big ol' houses: these places transport me back in time. I imagine the people who built, lived in, and defended them. What would they think of how we now live? If this kind of travel sounds ideal to you, hit the Contact Me button! I'd love to help you experience slower, more meaningful travel. We'll discuss tips for how to make the most of your trip, with low stress, reasonable safety, affordability, and lots of fun. Lives in Christchurch, Neuseeland
❗PLEASE NOTE❗ I'm trilingual. I offer my services here in English but I can also provide them in German 🇩🇪 and Spanish 🇪🇸 if you contact me ✨ Hi everyone 👋🏻 I'm Sarah from Germany and my biggest passion is everything related to travel. I not only LOVE to organize my own travels but also help others make travelling and especially planning easier. Below you can find some facts about me to get to know me a little better 😊 🌏 I'm backpacking solo around the world since 2017, exploring new places and cultures. I love to travel off the beaten path as I think this is the best way to experience local life and discover places away from mass tourism. 🗻 I've lived in New Zealand for 2,5 years, exploring this beautiful country in my van and I've also lived in Australia and Uruguay for one year each. 🥥 I always try to spend as much time as possible in one country to be able to explore it thoroughly. The first thing I usually do is wandering the streets to get a feel for the place, visiting local markets and also trying all the food. 🏞️🏝️ I love the outdoors, hiking, chasing waterfalls, driving around with the scooter, scuba diving and snorkeling. 🤔Have initial questions or need quick advice? Hit the “Contact Me” button to send me a message! I’d love to hear from you.
