Girlfriend Angie
Lives in Washington D.C., DC, USA
Hey y’all! I'm Angie, a 50+ DC-based project manager and avid traveler. My passion for arts, culture, good food, palm trees and blue waters has taken me to some awesome places and wonderful experiences. I’m forever excited about seeing new places and revisiting the ones I love. As a seasoned traveler, I have honed my skills in crafting itineraries that cater to my travel style of “easy fabulousness”. I love to have soul-enriching, fun experiences in fabulous locations, from city trips to foreign countries to island hopping …especially if I can do it without breaking the bank. Also, as an event manager for over 25 years, my expertise lies in the details. True, anyone can plan trips & itineraries these days, but most of my requests come from those who don’t want to do all the leg work or don’t want the stress of putting it all together. My specialty is weaving together itineraries that are hearty, fun & feel effortless. Family & friends tag along with me on trips I plan for myself because they know my planning style is going to deliver a fantastic trip. More common though are the friends who pepper me with questions around coordinating trip activities like the timing between each and managing transportation options. We are easy & fabulous over here. Gone are the days of coming home tired and needing a vacation from vacation. Check out my guides and let me help take the stress out of trip planning. Also contact me for customized itineraries and travel planning services if you want to plan your next getaway together. Subscribe to this shop so you'll know when I have new guides. Let’s link on social too. See tags below

Jaya Ruzans
Lives in Gold Coast QLD, Australia
Hi, I'm Jaya. I backpack full time around the world, always on a carefully curated budget. Somehow, I end up with loads of free accommodation, in rural areas of countries with locals, at festivals with a free wristband or travelling an entire country in a van for next to nothing. How I get through most of my trips is a shock to even me, but I always pull through with some of the most amazing experiences. I've been trying to figure out how I can best help others begin their travel journey, spend less or have a smoother ride. Thatch fell right in my lap and I couldn't be more thrilled to test this out! I want to be available for personally curated travel advice, for trip tips / guides to cities you've never been. If you need budget help I'm all over crunching numbers (weirdo, I know). I just have so many conversations with friends in my orbit, and I know in my heart I can help some others out there. Some highlights of my trips I'd love to share tips on; I flew from Australia to Europe for $360aud. I travelled in a van from north to south Portugal for $300aud for a whole week. I've volunteered in rural Indonesia teaching a muslim community English, I donated $90aud and I had free accommodation, transport and food for the entire 10 day stay. I managed to get 7 weeks free accommodation across a European Summer one year & saved thousands of dollars. I also want to mention, I'm a massive advocate for dining out, good coffee and good wine. I'm not much of a shopper, but will buy something if my wardrobe wouldn't survive without it (vintage, yes please!) I do travel very light with a 30L backpack that covered me for 5 months straight, & I still haven't seen the brand go viral yet? Everything I've learnt feels far too good to gate keep. So here I am ready to put it all on the table just for you.

Gabe and Manu
Lives in Boston, MA, USA
Hi! We're Gabe and Manu. Do you find yourself idly searching Google flights with destination “Anywhere”? Do you spend your workdays daydreaming of random itineraries and mapping out the best way from Sofia, Bulgaria to Prístina, Kosovo? Yes? Then you’re just like us and would probably love some of the trips we’ve planned. No? Then maybe you hate travel planning and have come to just the right place. We are seasoned travelers who have been to over 50 countries. But we hate checking boxes and we are not trying to hit all the major attractions. If you want to run from the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame, we may not be the right guide for you. If you want to hit up the Hard Rock Cafe in Yerevan on a Thursday to watch a Filipino cover band play Nirvana, then I think you’ll like our style. We know we’re all strapped for time and it’s hard to really get to know a place in 7-10 days, but we are firm believers that it is possible. In our travels we try to seek out those places where you will catch a slice of local life. Where you will look around you and think to yourself, “I am a long way from home.” We love that feeling and even if you’ve never had that opportunity, we think when you feel it you will fall in love with travel too. So, please take a look at some of the itineraries we have to offer or let us know if you’d like something custom. We love building itineraries (almost) as much as we like traveling. Wheels up!

Luna Around The World
Lives in London, UK
Female Solo Traveler | Traveling on a Budget Scuba Diving | Outdoors Adventures Hello!! I’m Luna 🌙 and I'm a little addicted to discovering the world, both above and below the water! I mostly travel solo and I'm usually on a budget (the cheaper I can travel, the more I travel!), but I'll invest more money for the right experience (Hot Air Baloon in Cappadocia, I'm looking at you!). In every job I've been at, I was known as the "crazy traveler" - you know that person that lands at 5am on a Monday and is in the office at 9am? or the one jetting off for the 2 days weekend every other week? Or the one that always comes back with some crazy stories? all of the above... it's me! I would like to think I’m quite a curious and adventurous person and I’m always up for trying new things, discover new foods and meet new people. There are not many things I wouldn’t be willing to try and I can’t think of any while writing this. I enjoy exploring new places, discovering new cultures and trying the local foods, but I also enjoy a good hike, a day by the beach and a crazy adventure! I strongly believe I should have been born a mermaid as I absolutely love the water, I’m a scuba diver 🤿 and I’m currently certifying as a free diver 🧜🏻‍♀️ . While I wait for my mermaid tail to grow, I want to see as much as possible of the land-based world. I’m originally from Italy 🇮🇹 but I’ve lived a little bit around California, the East Coast of the US, Barcelona and Scotland before settling in London where I worked in Marketing for 5 years. As of August 2023, I quit London and my corporate life to take a break and travel more, so stay tuned as more and more content will appear here and on my Insta!

Petra Udomprasert
Lives in Bangkok, Thailand
Hi! I'm Petra! I’m Thai, born and raised. My business is based in the US, but I call Thailand and South Korea my homes and have lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for several months. From my years living in Thailand and my annual 2-month-long visits, I'm especially knowledgeable and up-to-date about Thailand, its trends, and its culture. What are the coolest things to see and do (not necessarily the most touristy ones!), where are the best places to find authentic food (places that say "authentic" are out of the question), and which hotels have the best service... I can give you all these insider-level tips! I've lived in the US since 2015. As a digital nomad, I don't have a city or state that I'm based in, but I know LA especially well having lived there permanently for 8 years. Another of my expertise is South Korea, Seoul specifically, and Korean culture and history in general. Having grown up learning the language and visiting so often (14 times and counting), I can comfortably count Seoul as my second home. And I can confidently give you the best insider tips to Seoul just as well as Thailand! My travel style is culture-based. I love having deep connections with the local culture and people wherever I visit. So you won't find beach clubs or nightclubs much among my recommendations. Basically, if it is something you can see and experience at home, I'm not recommending it!
