Hello! My name is Trent Gertz and I am 21 years old, graduating from Boise State University this May of 2024. I recently moved back to the United States after living abroad in Turin, Italy for 1 year. While abroad I discovered my passion for travel while visiting 26 different countries and 45+ breathtaking cities. I had many early wakeup calls that would start a new adventure when the alarm went off, whether it was hopping on a train, plane, bus, or locals offering rides. I have gained so much knowledge through the weekly journeys, whether that be culture, costs, transportation, dining, or housing accommodations. I feel that through all the speedbumps that each trip threw at me I now can confidently say I can effectively plan and travel all through Europe no matter the circumstances. I am very knowledgeable within the USA as well as I come from a family of airline pilots and flight attendants, so I was born with the angst to see the world and understand all it has to offer. I mostly travel solo and I'm usually on a budget (the cheaper I can travel, the more I travel!), but I'll invest more money for the right experience (Hot Air Baloon in Cappadocia, I'm looking at you!). In every job I've been at, I was known as the "crazy traveler" - you know that person that lands at 5am on a Monday and is in the office at 9am? or the one jetting off for the 2 days weekend every other week? Or the one that always comes back with some crazy stories? all of the above... it's me! I would like to think I’m quite a curious and adventurous person and I’m always up for trying new things, discover new foods and meet new people. There are not many things I wouldn’t be willing to try and I can’t think of any while writing this. I enjoy exploring new places, discovering new cultures and trying the local foods, but I also enjoy a good hike, a day by the beach and a crazy adventure! I strongly believe I should have been born a mermaid as I absolutely love the water, I’m a scuba diver 🤿 and I’m currently certifying as a free diver 🧜🏻‍♀️ . Hi, I'm Clémentine! After several years as a Marketing Manager in France, and a 6-month work experience in Canada, I had the opportunity to manage a hotel in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Costa Rica. I'd already traveled to this magnificent country, and living there really immersed me in this culture of "the slow life", which has been ingrained in me ever since. After my experience in Costa Rica, I decided to discover a neighboring but lesser-known country, Panama. It was at this very moment, while falling in love with this country of many wonders, that I decided to turn my passion into my profession and share my best experiences with you. After 4 months in Panama, and thousands of memories in mind, it was time to return to Europe to enjoy some family time.
