Hi there, welcome to my page! Nearly 10 years ago, I packed up all of my belongings and moved across the US from my childhood home in Massachusetts to Los Angeles. I had no job, and no plan, but just enough ambition to try something new that got me out of my comfort zone. It wasn't long after arriving in Los Angeles that I discovered my passion for traveling, adventure, and being outdoors. I've been exploring non-stop ever since and have been lucky enough to experience 7 countries, 25 states, and 15 National Parks. I'm an expert in west coast travel, having explored much of California, Arizona, and Utah. I'm a hiker, camper, and love to explore off the beaten path, which you'll see reflected in all of my guides and itineraries. Because of my full-time job and limited PTO, I plan my travel ambitiously, often times driving or flying somewhere on a Friday after work for a weekend. During the day I work as a Nurse in an International College and at night I am a National League volleyball player 👩‍⚕️🏐 I have been infected with the travel bug by my parents who decided to take me around Europe on their campervan for all my childhood. I had the chance to experience lots of different cultures and enjoy local food, activities and people. When I was old enough, I packed my bags and moved across the Ocean for 13 months living the American Dream as an AuPair. During those months I travelled to 22 states and checked lots of things off my bucket list. Danish, spontaneous, adventurous and down to earth. Hi ya! I have been traveling as much as I could since 2020 - Yep I started traveling the most during COVID. But you know what? It actually wasn't that bad. I got to live in England and France during COVID so even though it wasn't the best time to travel I decided to make lemonade ;) Since then I have done a few backpacking travels and I am currently in New Zealand. I love exploring new countries and learn about their culture. Besides that I am a sucker for sunsets and adrenalin filled experiences! I mostly travel like a fancy budgetter🥴 I don't have a lot of money to spend on fancy hotels, dinner outs or massages alle the time, BUT I think it is important to treat yourself and buy that fancy hotel if that's what you need and can afford. I have been using the most disgusting toilets, slept with cockroaches in a floating house, endured the worst thunder and lightning in a night bus and having the worst hangovers before going on a hike. All of this is surrealistic to look back on, but in that moment it just was like that. You can't really prepare to go take a shit in a hole almost standing up. It just happens if you really have to. - Sorry for the nasty images in your head. I'm just trying to say that traveling is to me so much more than just going to a beach with the clearest blue water or watching the sunset with a cocktail in your hand. I have personally evolved and exceeded limits I never thought I would have to all thanks to being able to travel to other countries. Even though I might've scared you a bit, I promise, it's all worth it. I'm here to help you through the good and the not as good parts of traveling to other countries, but first, I need to ensure that you're prepared, confident, courageous, enthusiastic, and ready to go get the world.
