Hi! We are Katie and Joe! We quit the corporate life in 2022 after a decade of global advertising and photography experience to travel the world. We converted a 2022 Ford Transit Van to be our mobile home on wheels. Since we completed Clifford (he's big and red), we've been to Colorado, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Utah, Oregon, Washington, up the Alaskan Highway, and into Alaska. We are on a quest to see all 63 US National Parks, so far we've seen 41 in 2023 and more to come. We were both raised in Colorado but have spent the past 10 years bouncing around New York City, NY, Berlin, Germany, Detroit, Michigan. While those are fantastic places filled with wonderful memories, we are happy to be closer to our families in Colorado. We've been traveling together for almost 15 years (yikes!) and have seen 30+ countries together. From Japan to Portugal and almost anywhere between, we've seen a lot! But we know there is so much more to see.

Hi there, I am Sivan, a vegan & imperfect sustainable traveller. I like to visit off the tourist trail destinations, or if I do visit more popular destinations I like to do so as responsibly & sustainably as possible. I grew up in the Netherlands, lived in the UK for 16 years, and have lived in Marseille, France, for the last 4 years. I’ve also travelled to around 50 countries all around the world, and have meticulously planned all of them myself. Trip planning, is something I enjoy doing for myself, as well as for my family and friends, and is something I pride myself in. I mostly travel solo & once I get to my destination, I rely on public transport and overland travel as opposed to flying, where possible. Learning about the local culture & supporting local economies is important to me so I try and stay at either locally-owned guesthouses, homestays, or sustainable boutique hotels, and avoid big chain hotels or Airbnb. Danish, spontaneous, adventurous and down to earth. Hi ya! I have been traveling as much as I could since 2020 - Yep I started traveling the most during COVID. But you know what? It actually wasn't that bad. I got to live in England and France during COVID so even though it wasn't the best time to travel I decided to make lemonade ;) Since then I have done a few backpacking travels and I am currently in New Zealand. I love exploring new countries and learn about their culture. Besides that I am a sucker for sunsets and adrenalin filled experiences! I mostly travel like a fancy budgetter🥴 I don't have a lot of money to spend on fancy hotels, dinner outs or massages alle the time, BUT I think it is important to treat yourself and buy that fancy hotel if that's what you need and can afford. I have been using the most disgusting toilets, slept with cockroaches in a floating house, endured the worst thunder and lightning in a night bus and having the worst hangovers before going on a hike. All of this is surrealistic to look back on, but in that moment it just was like that. You can't really prepare to go take a shit in a hole almost standing up. It just happens if you really have to. - Sorry for the nasty images in your head. I'm just trying to say that traveling is to me so much more than just going to a beach with the clearest blue water or watching the sunset with a cocktail in your hand. I have personally evolved and exceeded limits I never thought I would have to all thanks to being able to travel to other countries. Even though I might've scared you a bit, I promise, it's all worth it. I'm here to help you through the good and the not as good parts of traveling to other countries, but first, I need to ensure that you're prepared, confident, courageous, enthusiastic, and ready to go get the world.
