Hi there! I'm Mackenzie Woods, a chemical engineer by trade and a world traveler by passion. I've spent my whole life traveling around the US with my (rather large and chaotic) family, and in recent years expanded to traveling abroad. What do all my trips have in common? I plan them!! And now I'm here to share with you everything I've learned from planning these trips and traveling to these amazing places. From the beautiful national parks of the US to the bustling streets of Tokyo, I've put in the time and effort to research how to make the trip as incredible as possible - and now you don't have to! Born in British Columbia, raised in Alberta and recently moved to the beautiful Yukon Territory! A lover of the outdoors and a believer that getting outside is good for the soul. On my trips I usually adapt either to a slow pace (as sometimes I make places my base, because I work remotely), which provides a lot of time to explore, or to a pre-determined shorter time. (from a Day-trip all over to 2 or 3 weeks) What I truly believe is part of me, is the skill to adapt to different environments with ease, and after a couple of days feel myself like at home, I genuinely feel lucky about that I can travel and connect with the world, and I would like to help more people to do it! I'd already traveled to this magnificent country, and living there really immersed me in this culture of "the slow life", which has been ingrained in me ever since. After my experience in Costa Rica, I decided to discover a neighboring but lesser-known country, Panama.
