Girlfriend Angie
Lives in Washington D.C., DC, USA
Hey y’all! I'm Angie, a 50+ DC-based project manager and avid traveler. My passion for arts, culture, good food, palm trees and blue waters has taken me to some awesome places and wonderful experiences. I’m forever excited about seeing new places and revisiting the ones I love. As a seasoned traveler, I have honed my skills in crafting itineraries that cater to my travel style of “easy fabulousness”. I love to have soul-enriching, fun experiences in fabulous locations, from city trips to foreign countries to island hopping …especially if I can do it without breaking the bank. Also, as an event manager for over 25 years, my expertise lies in the details. True, anyone can plan trips & itineraries these days, but most of my requests come from those who don’t want to do all the leg work or don’t want the stress of putting it all together. My specialty is weaving together itineraries that are hearty, fun & feel effortless. Family & friends tag along with me on trips I plan for myself because they know my planning style is going to deliver a fantastic trip. More common though are the friends who pepper me with questions around coordinating trip activities like the timing between each and managing transportation options. We are easy & fabulous over here. Gone are the days of coming home tired and needing a vacation from vacation. Check out my guides and let me help take the stress out of trip planning. Also contact me for customized itineraries and travel planning services if you want to plan your next getaway together. Subscribe to this shop so you'll know when I have new guides. Gabe and Manu
Lives in Boston, MA, USA
Hi! We're Gabe and Manu. Do you find yourself idly searching Google flights with destination “Anywhere”? Do you spend your workdays daydreaming of random itineraries and mapping out the best way from Sofia, Bulgaria to Prístina, Kosovo? Yes? Then you’re just like us and would probably love some of the trips we’ve planned. No? Then maybe you hate travel planning and have come to just the right place. We are seasoned travelers who have been to over 50 countries. But we hate checking boxes and we are not trying to hit all the major attractions. If you want to run from the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame, we may not be the right guide for you. If you want to hit up the Hard Rock Cafe in Yerevan on a Thursday to watch a Filipino cover band play Nirvana, then I think you’ll like our style. We know we’re all strapped for time and it’s hard to really get to know a place in 7-10 days, but we are firm believers that it is possible. In our travels we try to seek out those places where you will catch a slice of local life. Where you will look around you and think to yourself, “I am a long way from home.” We love that feeling and even if you’ve never had that opportunity, we think when you feel it you will fall in love with travel too. So, please take a look at some of the itineraries we have to offer or let us know if you’d like something custom. We love building itineraries (almost) as much as we like traveling. Wheels up!

Jaya Ruzans
Lives in Gold Coast QLD, Australia
Hi, I'm Jaya. I backpack full time around the world, always on a carefully curated budget. Somehow, I end up with loads of free accommodation, in rural areas of countries with locals, at festivals with a free wristband or travelling an entire country in a van for next to nothing. How I get through most of my trips is a shock to even me, but I always pull through with some of the most amazing experiences. I've been trying to figure out how I can best help others begin their travel journey, spend less or have a smoother ride. Thatch fell right in my lap and I couldn't be more thrilled to test this out! I want to be available for personally curated travel advice, for trip tips / guides to cities you've never been. If you need budget help I'm all over crunching numbers (weirdo, I know). I just have so many conversations with friends in my orbit, and I know in my heart I can help some others out there. Some highlights of my trips I'd love to share tips on; I flew from Australia to Europe for $360aud. I travelled in a van from north to south Portugal for $300aud for a whole week. I've volunteered in rural Indonesia teaching a muslim community English, I donated $90aud and I had free accommodation, transport and food for the entire 10 day stay. I managed to get 7 weeks free accommodation across a European Summer one year & saved thousands of dollars. I also want to mention, I'm a massive advocate for dining out, good coffee and good wine. I'm not much of a shopper, but will buy something if my wardrobe wouldn't survive without it (vintage, yes please!) I do travel very light with a 30L backpack that covered me for 5 months straight, & I still haven't seen the brand go viral yet? Everything I've learnt feels far too good to gate keep. So here I am ready to put it all on the table just for you.

Ann-Sofie Remaut
Lives in Ypres, België
Hi there lovely souls! My name is Ann-Sofie (but everybody calls me Anso), I would describe myself as an easy-going, adventurous and spontaneous human being. I am 26 years old and I live with my boyfriend and two dogs in Belgium. In our spare time we are always exited to explore parts of this wonderful globe, with and without the dogs :'). We love exploring Europe with our rooftop tent and recently we've been to our first Asia trip to the Philippines. My travel journey started back in January 2022 where I did my first solo trip to Portugal. After that trip, it felt like something changed. I felt totally recharged. Now I remind myself to that feeling and I continue to book these solo trips now and then. You learn SO much about yourself, about your values and beliefs, your strengths and weaknesses. It's a never ending journey. Whenever I travel, I prefer exploring off the beaten tracks and to spend as much time as possible in nature (beaches, mountains, the ocean, hiking ...) but I also enjoy local authentic villages. I love to try new things, but I always need to push myself a bit. On the other side I also love to take some deep inner rest and to focus on my wellbeing. I recently started a travel Instagram with my boyfriend @soulfuljourneys_be - feel free to give us a follow. We help personalizing your trip and give you some raw travel content. Other than that, we love sharing a glimpse of our life. For me, travelling will always be a way to get out of my comfort zone. To learn about new cultures, talking to local people, trying out new things and taking time to sit and reflect with my thoughts. I am so eager to find the most authentic places that touches your soul. So it happens quite often that I plan last minute and impulsive trips. I do research to save places on Google Maps. Most importantly is that I always try to avoid the touristy places, because in the end those are not the places you will remember for a lifetime.

Jesse James Johnson
Lives in Kalamata, Grecia
Hey I'm Jesse :)! I am an open-minded really curious guy who seeks to expand his comfort zone continuously, I am really passionate about life itself! I actually like a lot of things, apart and within traveling, I love to learn, love trying new things, love to eat, drink and cook, love sports, love to study, learn and apply. Love to get to know the World, their people and their cultures. I love to share what I can to make places a better place... I've covered several cities and small towns across 39 countries exploring, and my last trip started 17 months ago and counting. Some years before I used to connect European Travelers with Indigenous Communities Destination in Panama. I consider my travel style to be a good balance between, getting lost in things that people usually passed on, but are truly worth stopping by! BUT--- without missing the major landmarks of the place... I like the feeling of finding a nice "not usual" place and to be the only traveler there, full of locals, trying to remain the most "localish" possible to see the true colors and behaviors of some spots... On my trips I usually adapt either to a slow pace (as sometimes I make places my base, because I work remotely), which provides a lot of time to explore, or to a pre-determined shorter time. (from a Day-trip all over to 2 or 3 weeks) What I truly believe is part of me, is the skill to adapt to different environments with ease, and after a couple of days feel myself like at home, I genuinely feel lucky about that I can travel and connect with the world, and I would like to help more people to do it! Go for your dreams my friend!✨
